A message from the MD

Dear Customer,

Since I spoke to you last I have been to the Munich Summer Show and Marseilles planning for next spring and summer. It is hard work I assure you. Obviously Germany was in hangover mode after such a successful World Cup, well successful for everyone except England of course, but they still managed to put on a great show with a great deal of emphasis on Nordic Walking, Nordic what? I hear you cry. At Simply Sports we have stocked Nordic and ordinary walking poles for over a year and specialist shoes for the past six months. It is difficult to exaggerate just how big Nordic Walking is on the continent and it is gradually moving into the UK. It is reputed to exercise more muscle groups than any other form of exercise so if you fancy a go why not give us a call, we have details of a local Nordic Walking Instructor.

I mentioned in my last newsletter that the EZI-FREEZE bottles had been a great success, well I was wrong, sales have been phenomenal. Those of you who have not tried these do not worry we will be stocking them right up to Christmas (did he say Christmas?) and beyond.

For the back to school and new Autumn seasons our stock is already in, we are bursting at the seams with new Football boots, Rugby and Hockey gear and of course not forgetting Lacrosse with the brightest sticks yet called the Hawaii range!

Our Reward Card Scheme is now up and running, this works on a quarterly points redemption to the tune of about 5%. Along with this we shall be offering exclusive special offers to our Reward card members. Please call in to one of our branches and ask a member of staff for details. We really want to reward our regular customers who have supported us for so long so please take a card and save on your purchases.

For those of you going on your Summer Holidays or spending time in the garden we have as always a great selection of Garden Games from Trampolines, Table Tennis Tables through to Badminton sets and Swingball. If it is something light and easy to pack that you need we have Frisbees, Aerobees, Super Discs (illuminated!) that will keep the children amused for hours.
