In 1851, John Jaques & Son introduced the game of croquet to the nation at "The Great Exhibition" in London.

His display there attracted such wide attention that the game speedily became the vogue, not only here, but in in Europe and throughout the British Empire.

150 years on, the same family run business has launched an exclusive "Limited Edition" commemorative set. Production is strictly limited to 150 sets, each one presented in an antique oak effect box complete with an exclusive numbered brass plaque and certificate of authenticity signed by the current directors, John and Christopher Jaques.
